Sorcerer

I cannot resist big, floppy wizard hats, clothes that defy gravity and...red heads.

I'm also a fan of costumes that are simple but have a lot of visual interest, architectural detail and contrast. Hopefully, I achieved this with my design.


This was sketched and lined in SAI, and colored in Photoshop; all with a Bamboo Fun. I did a lot of random filter and layer style experiments to get the colors to pop, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I might mess with the composition, though...let me know if you think it looks off balance.

The staff is based loosely on the staff wielded by one of my favorite Digimon. A shiny new Llama badge for whoever can guess which one... :3

6/5/10: fixed some weird little errors. I think this piece is pretty solid now. hurray!
